What is the Lions Gate? The Sun, Earth, and Sirius Alignment
The doorway to the 2026 Lions Gate opened on 7/28/2026 and ends on 8/12/2026.
Each day as we move closer to peak alignment, it allows more light and energy to dowload into our physical and planetary frequencies. 8/8/2026 is the peak day. Extra significance considered this year is the triple stargate. When the numbers are broken down in numerology to their simplest form (8+8+2+0+2+6=26=8) they carry a frequency. 8 being a powerful number and representing infinity, a continual flow, wisdom and awakening within.
The Lion is the symbol for Leo, the 8th month, and has been used since ancient times by many cultures representing Power, Courage, Strength, Protection, Loyalty and Royalty.
Every year when the Sun is in Leo, the star Sirius begins to rise and appears at dawn, just before sunrise. It symbolizes the return of light after a period of darkness. Sirius, the brightest star in the heavens, was revered as the Dog Star by ancient cultures and was considered to bring enlightenment and higher wisdom.
They believed this once a year conjunction between the Sun and Sirius to be a cosmic opening between the spiritual and physical realms.
The energy of the Leo Sun embraces creativity, self expression and individuality. The heart chakra of our personal power and life purpose. Combining the Solar energy with Sirius generates cosmic guidance, awakening, transformation, and rebirth. We have a golden opportunity to connect with our intuitive, spiritual selves and gain wisdom to be the highest expression of ourselves.
It is there for those who are willing to sit quiet and tune into their own inner teacher. This is a powerful time for setting intentions, manifesting what will fill our hearts, feed our souls and assist in our spiritual evolution. As individuals, as well as the collective.
Considering all the planetary energy we're already experiencing, this past week may have felt different, in a good way, or maybe not quite sure how to explain it, or what just happened, yet it may have brought some new inspiration and insights, creative thoughts and a new conscious awareness. Jupiter sitting with the Sun currently, is expanding this energy to the max. It's all forward movement, a harbinger for social growth and change.
Adjusting to the new vibration, letting go of the negative self talk, will help you to be in the divine universal flow of manifesting something new for yourself.
