IMPORTANT UPDATE: Goddesshood Community Event Rescheduling 🌟

Dear Goddesshood tribe,

Due to unforeseen weather conditions and the need for an event permit at Robert Moses Park, we've made some necessary changes to our upcoming gathering.

New Venue: Our new location will be the stunning Lake Ronkonkoma, where we'll be enveloped by lake views and witness a breathtaking sunset. There's ample parking, and the combination of sand and the vast expanse of water promises a deep connection with nature.

After-Circle Gathering: Following our circle, we're inviting everyone to continue the conversations at a nearby lakeside Bar/Restaurant, offering a view of the Moon Rise. This is a relaxed invitation; feel free to purchase drinks/food if you wish. The exact venue will be disclosed during our circle.

Who's Invited?

• The Circle: Open to everyone, regardless of gender or age.
• The After-party: Adults 21+.

Event: Goddesshood Gathering - Full Moon Circle

Featuring: Full Moon Circle Rituals + Drumming

Date: Sunday, October 1st, 2023

Location: Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Park at Lake Ronkonkoma (directions here)

Time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Pack for the Gathering:

Bring along items to ensure your comfort - perhaps a beach chair, blanket, beverage, and any percussion instruments you might have.

Contributions: 

We suggest a donation of $20 per participant. As a token of our gratitude and a symbol of our shared journey, you'll receive a Goddesshood Bracelet. This bracelet is not just an accessory; it's a touchstone for setting intentions and cherishing our collective spirit.

We regret any inconvenience, but please note our gathering will now not be held on Friday. Updates regarding the new date, time, and venue will be communicated shortly.

While the venue has changed, our mission remains the same: to unite, celebrate, and immerse ourselves in nature's wonders. I know many of us cherish our regular spot, but perhaps this change can usher in new traditions and experiences.

What to expect:

• Spiritual Community Gathering (any religion, creed, and culture welcome!)
• Sacred Space was created in Community, led by Carolina Luna, your circle facilitator, and founder of Goddesshood.
• Collective Sageing (Sage is known for removing negative energy)
• A 5-sense meditation by Luna, your Circle Facilitator.
• Drumming led by Chris Jay - you can drum along or just enjoy and dance!
• A gorgeous nature setting with sunset and the energy of the Full Moon
• Ps.: No alcohol or recreational drugs.
• A ceremony -  write on a piece of paper your intention of what to let go of - to burn in our fire ritual

Program:

4:45-5:15 pm Check-In and Mingle

5:15pm Setting Intention, Smudging with Sage, Sacred Space+ Release Ceremony + Start Drumming and Sunset Meditation

7:00 pm  Drumming ends + Close Circle

7:30 pm Optional (go to a Bar/Restaurant for after party)

Note:  the after-party is optional and at your own expense if you choose to consume any drinks or food.

How to Prepare:

Write on a piece of paper what is no longer serving you or what you want to release energetically on this full moon ceremony. We are going to burn or bury it in a ceremony. 

We encourage you to share this transformative event with others, inviting them to experience the power and beauty of collective intention setting and transformation. Revel in the gathering and the spiritual progress it signifies in your journey. Enjoy this moment of collective transformation and spiritual growth.
