FULL MOON BEACH DRUM CIRCLE (1)

Calling all soulful, free-spirited men and women to join us once again for our FULL MOON BEACH CIRCLE + DRUMMING. Surprise guest appearance SOULFIRE, author of Fearless Freedom.

We meet on Sunday, August 26th at 6:30pm at Field 5, Robert Moses Beach. Enter Field 5 (free parking after 6pm), and go to the far left end of the parking lot, towards the Lighthouse. Meet us on the sand. You can't miss us! Goddess Luna will be waving a pink feather!

Drum with us or dance on the sand. Become more grounded and move into your body with rhythmic sounds, drumming and surprise activities. Together we witness the Sunset while we meditate, move our bodies and celebrate life. We drum and witness the Moon rises. It is a magical time!

It is always great when like-minded souls gather with the intention to transmute energies. We release negativity and focus on manifestation, feeling good and having fun under the open sky. Bring your favorite people with you, or make new friends.

Goddess Luna will sage you prior to circle, supported by the energy of the full moon, starting at 6:45pm-7pm. Don't miss out!

WE thrive in a tribe! Our gatherings aim to foster community, connect with nature and awaken individuals to their divine purpose. There is no religious affiliation. We practice finding divinity within.

Our feature lead drummer is the multi-instrumentalist AKIVA THE BELIEVER! Plus, a SURPRISE guest! The incredible SOULFIRE! Soulfire was the catalyst to bringing the drumming into our Godddesshood circles last summer. In 2017 she was our first summer special guest all while she was releasing her first book, "Fearless Freedom, Becoming Soulfire". The tv was there and all. Since then, Soulfire has been working on her second book, inspiring others with her teachings, healings and journey.

Akiva Wharton, aka Akiva the Believer, is a long time professional hand drummer who has worked with many influential artists in the jewish community, such as Paul of Peter, Paul and Mary, Shlomo Carlebach and a who's who in the musical world. He leads drum circles, gives solo concerts, improv performances, and has a CD, "The Rhythm of G!d".

Akiva has been a big influence in bringing drums back into the Jewish Service. Now joined by his soulmate and bride, Cantor Lisa Ann Wharton, Akiva is unstoppable!

Akiva graced our Goddesshood gathering for the first time June 2017, bringing his soulful persona, immense energy and talent, and leading the group in rhythmic waves. He was also part of the "Strawberry Moon Jam Band" that was born on those very sands of Robert Moses, after-circle, formed by many talented artists that showed up with their acoustic wares to play for us!

Don't forget:

• The "B"s of Beach Circles: Bottled water, Blanket, Beach Chair and Bug spray.
• Also bring a lantern/flashlight or headlamp, as we stay after the sunset.
• BRING HAND DRUMS & ACCOUSTIC INSTRUMENTS. All levels welcome!

• Bring a sweater. Sometimes it gets windy!

Goddess Luna is the Circle Leader for Goddesshood, a Divine Feminine Awakening Movement focused on building sisterhood, community and support for men and women in their journey to becoming the best version of themselves. Join Luna to learn practical, empowering and self-mastering tools. Luna hosts a circle every month on or around the Full Moon. A Circle is a great way for both men and women to nurture and reconnect with source and balance the feminine and masculine polarities within, connect with other like minded people and honor our spiritual selves.
