Autumn Equinox

The Sun enters the sign of Libra. It shines directly on the equator and our days and nights are near equal length. There is balance. This marks the beginning of the waning phase of the solar cycle where the days get shorter and colder and the nights begin to drawn in. Time to take stock and reflect, to prepare for the inward journey.

Bring your Drums to join Mila Tina. Other items: headlamps, snacks, drinks, blankets/ beach chair. Dress warmer!

Mila Tina teaches rhythm through movement and mantra, so that we re-learn the universal language of rhythm as we empower ourselves with statements that reinforce our highest truths.

Rhythm Drumming Mantras

Reconnecting with our innate sense of rhythm is a path to healing.

When we are in our mother’s womb, the first thing we hear is the rhythm of her heartbeat. Rhythm is our first language. It’s the universal language of all creatures and all matter, down to the vibrations of the atoms and sub particles that make up our world.

We get disconnected from our innate sense of rhythm because we aren’t taught to use it, the way we are taught to use our legs for walking. This disconnection from rhythm keeps us separate from our bodies and our inner knowing.

Now it’s time to re-teach ourselves what we once knew so intimately and heal the disconnection.
