Want to improve your Drumming skills? Goddesshood's lead drummer Akiva the Believer will be hosting a special class for circle attendees on Wednesday, August 22 at 7pm. Grab your drum and join him! Meet at Field 5 Pavillion, by the Concession.

More About Akiva
Akiva Wharton, aka Akiva the Believer, is a long time professional hand drummer who has worked with many influential artists in the jewish community, such as Paul of Peter, Paul and Mary, Shlomo Carlebach and a who's who in the musical world. He leads drum circles, gives solo concerts, improv performances, and has a CD, "The Rhythm of G!d".
Akiva has been a big influence in bringing drums back into the Jewish Service. Now joined by his soulmate and bride, Cantor Lisa Ann Wharton, Akiva is unstoppable!
Akiva graced our Goddesshood gathering for the first time June 2017, bringing his soulful persona, immense energy and talent, and leading the group in rhythmic waves. He was also part of the "Strawberry Moon Jam Band" that was born on those very sands of Robert Moses, after-circle, formed by many talented artists that showed up with their acoustic wares to play for us!
