The spectrum of her work ranges from the glamorous beauty of Hollywood to the heartbreaking despair of Skid Row.

Her portraits have a unique perspective of the human spirit- images that capture strengths, vulnerabilities, and the essence of the soul.

After a photographic essay on a homeless couple, Ms. Halpin was commissioned by the Los Angeles Mission to document men and women on Skid Row for their monthly publications.

These images grace the Mission billboards in the Los Angeles area.

A member of the Los Angeles Mission Celebrity Action Counsel- Los Angeles Mission City Lights Program, she and prominent women in the entertainment industry work together to support and inspire women in rehabilitation.

Along with actress Linda Gray, Mary Ann will be creating and directing a documentary for the Los Angeles Mission on the program's work and progress.

The majority of her work is commissioned portraits for the entertainment industry, albums/CD covers and celebrity editorial assignments for national and international magazines.

Mary Ann's photographs have been exhibited in several galleries, her most recent showing is a provocative and controversial series of body painted nudes.
